Tommy Boland, or Tommy B to his team, heads up the Almeida kitchen. He has previously spent stints manning the pans at The Square, Le Cinq in Paris, and most recently worked as head chef at Tom Aikens.
He might be young, but there’s no denying that Boland brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to the table. Unsurprising when you consider he’s trained under some of the UK’s most talented chefs, including Phil Howard and Eric Chavot.
Tommy’s cheeky personality is reflected in his cooking but is backed up by his unquestionable skill, passion and emphasis on sourcing simple seasonal produce. All this sets Tommy apart from his peers and marks the beginning of an exciting new era for Almeida.
